What is Bio Individual Nutrition and how does it work. First, we all have to acknowledge that the body is a system and second every one of us has their own unique system. Bio individual nutrition is a way to develop through trial, eliminations and understanding methylation, transsulfuration and sulfation.
In layman’s terms, methylation is a group of chemistry that affects how molecules act in the body, transsulfuration is the pathway critical for cell function and sulfation is critical for neurotransmitters and other body processes. Again, this is all individual and there is not a one size fits all path forward.
So, what does all this mean? What it means is that knowing your bio individual needs and eat nutritionally to target that can be helpful. How you find your bio individual needs is with a health care practitioner, such as a nutritionist that is comfortable with the bio individual term and knowledgeable on how to achieve the goal of understanding your bio individual needs.
Understanding that from a nutritional standpoint is obviously to eat what your body needs and the body gets boosted. Methylation foods that are supporting are beets, spinach, mushrooms, eggs, organ meats and shellfish, these will increase and support the methylation process in the body.
What you need to eat for the sulfation process is cruciferous vegetables, allium plants such as onions, leeks chicken or poultry and seafood. The transsulfuration process needs B6 foods such as fish, beef liver and organ meats, potatoes and starchy vegetables, eggs and fruit other than citrus.
I think that you can see that directing your diet once you understand where your unique body needs to be boosted can help with your overall health.
