Beauty is defined with what words.  Does beauty really lie in the beholder.  Can beauty be put into words or can it only be felt in the moment? So, beauty when it comes to people can be a multifaceted concept encompassing both physical and inner qualities that evoke pleasure or admiration. Beauty includes physical attractiveness, personality, and character traits, which all can be influenced by cultural and individual perspective.

There are influences of beauty by societal norms and cultural values, but it is also influenced by social media, marketing pressures and social trends. Nowadays you can get Nano eyebrows (a form of tattooing), threading lift, Botox or surgeries, all affordable changes. The choice for physical change is endless but where does it end, and self-acceptance and self-love start?

There was a stigma and affordability surrounding surgeries and procedures however, this has lessened over the years. It is now more socially acceptable, and research is showing that more younger ages 20 something are dabbling with aesthetic treatments and surgical procedures. Is all this acceptance of procedures skewing the standard about beauty and where is it all going to head? Is this all unrealistic?

We all want the fountain of youth but there is something to be said for growing old gracefully and being ok with finding the joy in the journey. There is an assumption that aging is a deterrent to happiness. Simply this is not the case, and it is all about the mind set of loving yourself and what that looks like for you, no judgement on choices just think it should be without fear.
