I wrote a book on the Whole Wisdom of the mind and body.  The book will be published on December 12, 2025, and the task of writing did not come easy to me.  I am not a writer, I am just someone who has something to say, about 150 pages worth of something to say.

Whole Wisdom-Trusting in the connection between mind and body.  It was a passion and in support of those who have suffered from childhood trauma and those who have mental health.  What is not talked about is how since body and mind are connected then we should be tackling the obvious and including part of the treatment for mental health and trauma supporting the parts of the body that deal with stress.

The body and mind are intricately linked, meaning thoughts, emotions and behaviours influence physical health and vice versa, physical health is linked to thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

Both the mind and the body can release the stress hormones. This bidirectional relationship is a proven phenomenon.  When you experience a stressful situation, your brain activates the fight, flight, freeze response, releasing hormones that cause physical symptoms like headaches, stomach aches, and increased heart rate. Therefore emotional distress can lead to physical ailments, an example is that anxiety can manifest a chest pain or nausea.

Chronic stress and mental health conditions like depression can affect physical health by disrupting sleep, eating problems, and even the immune system.  As week poor physical health such as chronic illness or nutritional deficiencies, can negatively impact your mood and cognitive function, potentially contributing to anxiety and depression

We are so in tuned to our “whole wisdom” but sometimes don’t pay attention to what it is telling us. Even your posture can influence your mood, standing upright influences your confidence.  Connect to that and practice.
