Water plays a key role in many of our body’s functions, including bringing nutrients to cells, getting rid of waste, protecting joints and organs, and maintaining body temperature, just to name a few of the important roles it plays.

Water carries nutrients to all cells in our body and oxygen to our brain.  Water allows the body to absorb and assimilate minerals, vitamins, amino acids, glucose and other substances necessary for life.  Water flushes out toxins and waste.

Without water, life as we know it would not exists for any plant or animal.  All organisms use water, salty or fresh, hot or cold, plenty of water or almost no water at all. Everything requires it.

So, how much water should we drink on average per day, 8 cups is a good goal some people may need more, some less and depends on climate, exercise and overall health to determine the amount of water required for hydration.

Where and what type of water is the best to drink? Clean, chemical free, unfiltered water is the best.  A spring-fed source is the optimal source.  Mineral, structured, and pure spring water are some of the healthiest waters you can drink because they’re clean and contain all the essential minerals your body needs.  Water is also a live organism, so stagnation is not the best source, having bottles of spring water that sit around is not the best way to hydrate your cells.
